The president of KNU had an interview on Rudaw TV and talked about cyber security and cyber attacks

On Thursday, January 10, 2022, Assist. Prof. Dr. Kayhan Zrar Ghafoor, The President of Knowledge University had an interview As a cybersecurity and networking expert and was a guest of the economic program on cybersecurity in Rudaw TV-Erbil Studio

At the beginning of the interview, the president of KNU talked about cyberattacks and described them as bad software that would disrupt computer systems and applications. also, he talked about the types of cyberattacks and referred to the most dangerous type of cyberattack, that automatically transferred from one computer to another, which is worm and is now called Ransomware, also described how it works.

The President of the University has counted such attacks as dangerous on the entire world that became a lot now, particularly among the powerful countries that have been targeted and damaged by the health sector and the education sector, and have generally had a negative economic impact on all countries around the world.

 

During his speech, Asst.Prof.Dr. Kayhan Zrar Ghafoor talked about the groups that carried out the cyberattacks, which were mentioned in the report of trusted international magazines and newspapers, 
and further enriched his interview by analyzing and providing important information about cyberattacks by countries on other countries sectors and institutions.

 

He also talked about other types of electronic attacks, such as hacking by email and Facebook accounts and generally referred to ways of self-protection from electronic attacks.

لە دەستپێکی دیمانەکەدا سەرۆکی زانکۆ باسی هێرشە سایبەرییەکانی کرد و بە سۆفتوێرێکی خراپ پێناسەی کرد کە دەبێتە هۆی لە کارخستنی سیستەم و ئەپلیکەیشنەکانی کۆمپیوتەر، هەروەها جۆرەکانی هێرشە ئەلیکترۆنییەکانی باس کرد و ئاماژەی بە مەترسیدارترین جۆری هێرشی سایبەریدا کە بە شێوەیەکی ئۆتۆماتیکی لە کۆمپیوتەرێک بۆ کۆمپیوتەرێکی تر دەگوازرێتەوە کە جۆری وۆرم(کرم)ە و ئێستا بە ڕاندسەموێر ناودەبرێت و شێوازی کارکردنی باس کرد.

بەڕێز سەرۆکی زانکۆ ئەم جۆرە هێڕشانەی بە مەترسیدار دانا بۆسەر تەواوی جیهان کە ئێستا زۆر بووە بە تایبەت لە نێوان وڵاتە زلهێزەکان کە کەرتی تەندروستی و کەرتی خوێندن  کراونەتە ئامانج و زیانیان پێگەشتووە هەروەها بە شێوەیەکی گشتی  کاریگەری نەرێنی ئابووری هەیە لەسەر تەواوی وڵاتەکانی جیهان.

لە درێژەی قسەکانیدا پ.ی.د.کیهان زرار غفور باسی گرووپەکانی ئەنجامدەری ئەم هێرشە ئەلیکترۆنیانەی کرد کە ناویان لە ڕاپۆرتی گۆڤار و ڕۆژنامە جیهانیە باوەڕپێکراوەکاندا هاتووە و مژاری دیدارەکەی زیاتر دەوڵەمەند کرد بە شیکردنەوە و پێدانی زانیاری گرنگ بە ژمارە و داتا  دەربارەی هێرشە سایبەرییەکان( ئەلیکترۆنیەکان) کە لە لایەن  وڵاتەکانەوە کراوەتە سەر کەرت و دام و دەزگای وڵاتانی تر.
