College of Engineering Hosts National Workshop on Bologna Process Compliance

The College of Engineering at Knowledge University, took a significant step towards enhancing the quality of higher education in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. On Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, the college hosted a national workshop titled, "Following the Instructions of the Bologna Process in the KRG Universities." The workshop was a platform for academics, educators, and policymakers to come together and discuss the implementation of the Bologna Process in the higher education institutions of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). Dr. Nazhad Ahmed, a renowned expert in the field of higher education and a key figure in the KRG's education system, was the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the event. Dr. Nazhad Ahmed has played a pivotal role in shaping education policies and ensuring that the region's universities align with international standards.

The Bologna Process, initiated in 1999, aims to create a harmonized and standardized higher education system across Europe.
