Knowledge University and Mehrabani Private Hospital Forge New Partnership

In a significant development for both education and healthcare in the region, Mr. Dashti Haji Najmalddin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Knowledge University, led a delegation on a visit to Mehrabani Private Hospital. He was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Aziz Saeed, Head of Relations, Hawkar Abubakr, Head of Scientific Affairs, and Mahdi Amin, General Registrar of Knowledge University. The delegation received a warm welcome from Dr. Dilêr Shina, General Principal of Mehrabani Hospital, along with Engineer Burhan Khidr, Vice Principal, and Dr. Burhan Ahmad, Head of Relations. During the meeting, Dr. Dilêr Shina shared insights into the hospital’s vital role in patient care and its efforts to support underprivileged families.

The visit included a tour of the hospital's departments and courtyards, providing the university officials with a comprehensive view of the hospital's operations and facilities. Impressed by the hospital's commitment to healthcare excellence and community service, Mr. Dashti Haji Najmalddin expressed his intention to purchase charitable shares on behalf of his family. Looking to the future, Knowledge University and Mehrabani Hospital are set to formalize a partnership through a contract that will facilitate training courses for students from all university departments. The hospital will also award certificates of participation to Knowledge University graduates, enhancing their practical experience and employability.

In a gesture of appreciation and goodwill, Mr. Dashti Najmalddin presented a Shield of Knowledge University to Dr. Dilêr Shina. He also extended an invitation to the hospital administration to visit the university. Additionally, Dr. Dilêr Shina has been invited to deliver a seminar about Mehrabani Hospital to students and lecturers from the university's health departments, fostering closer ties between the two institutions. This collaboration marks a promising step towards integrating academic knowledge with practical healthcare applications, benefiting both Knowledge University students and the broader community in Erbil.
