Gazala Parveen  is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Pharmacognosy, College of Pharmacy, Knowledge University, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. Prior to her recent appointment at Knowledge University, she was a Professor with the administrative position of Head of Department at MESCO Institute of Pharmacy, Amroha, UP (India), affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and Uttar Pradesh, India.

Dr. Gazala Parveen received her undergraduate degree in 2006 from SGRRI of Technology and Sciences, Dehradun (HNB Garhwal University) India, M. Pharm. degree in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry; in 2009 from JSS Pharmacy College Ooty (Dr MGR Medical University) India. She obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy; in 2015 from Sunrise University, Alwar, India.

Dr. Gazala published a number of papers in preferred Journals and participated in a range of forums on Pharmaceutical and Medical science. She also presented various academic as well as research-based papers at several national and international conferences, including 60th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress” held at New Delhi in Dec 2008; International Herbal Conference held at Bangalore in feb 2009, RAJAPTICON-2016 on 11-12th March, 2016 at Alwar and  69th IPC on 22-24 Dec. 2017, held on Chitkara University Rajpura, India.

Her research activities are in the fields of Preparation, characterization & evaluation nanoparticles by using different analytical techniques and Effects of Curcumin on Caenorhabditis elegans
