Dr. Saifuldeen Hatim Abdulrahman is a dedicated full-time lecturer in the Computer Sciences Department at KNU, having joined the university in September 2019. Prior to his current position, he taught at Paytaxt Technology Institute in Erbil. Dr Saif holds a BSc degree in computer sciences from Tikrit University, an MSc. and a PhD in information technology from University Utara Malaysia. His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Text Mining, and Information Systems.
Dr. Abdulrahman has a history of active involvement in the Student Leadership and Development Community at University Utara Malaysia. He has organized and contributed to numerous events, workshops, and international scientific conferences, as well as conducted training sessions on "Technics and Skills that Help Facilitate Postgraduate Studies Journey" for post-graduate students. During his master's studies, Dr Saif invented a text-mining approach to detect spam emails written in the Malay language. Additionally, he served as a member of the organizing community for the 21st Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems in Langkawi, Malaysia.
